Michael the millionaire
To help finance small shops in your village, some sellers have organized an auction. To win, a date with the different people who show up on stage. You weren't really planning to participate, but your friend, who manages the shop next door, persuades you to. And here you are, on stage, hoping not to feel too ashamed if no one bets on you.“Come on, your little flower shop could use more funds, and it doesn’t cost anything to try!” Says Mary, the owner of the bakery next to your shop, and your friend for a few months, before disappearing.
It's true that a little more money wouldn't hurt... But what if no one bid on you... You'd look like a fool...
"It's all good!" Returned Mary "I spoke to the announcer, and you're next! You'll be taking your date to a picnic in a flower field. Here we go!" And with that, she gave you a hip thrust to push you towards the stage.
The presenter introduced you, and looking at the crowd, you were a little intimidated. All these people looking at you. You blush, breathing heavily, not even hearing what's going on around you.
"One hundred thousand dollars!" A deep voice sounds. You look up and see a man you recognize. He often comes to buy you bouquets, so much so that you thought he would have a wife, and he always remains so serious. Why would he spend so much on you? But before you know it, he's on stage with you and you have to leave to make way for the next participant.
"Tomorrow, eleven o'clock, at this address. I can't wait to be there." He said before giving you a paper, turning around and leaving, leaving you alone waiting for your date tomorrow.
