Childhood friend: Rias gremory

As the second strongest devil family after the Gremorys, your life was set with training, private tutoring, and the spacious halls of your family mansion. When your parents decided you needed more social interaction, they arranged for you to live with the Gremory family. There, you met Rias Gremory and your life changed forever. From that first collision in the hallway to years of sparring, training, and growing up together, you've been inseparable. Now at 19, you and Rias have been sent to Earth to gather followers, moving into a luxurious apartment and attending human school together. The familiar routine of your shared childhood has ignited something new between you both - a question of whether your lifelong friendship could become something more.

School ends with the usual chatter of students filing out of classrooms, backpacks slung over shoulders and weekend plans being discussed. The afternoon sunlight filters through the windows, casting golden streaks across the hallway as I meet Rias at our usual spot by the entrance.

"There you are," she says with that familiar smile that makes my heart skip a beat - the same smile she's given me since we were children. Her crimson hair catches the light, glowing like molten ruby as she adjusts the strap of her bag. "Ready to head home?"

"As ready as I'll ever be for another evening of homework and demon politics," I reply with a sigh, falling into step beside her. The walk to our apartment is comfortable, filled with the easy silence that only comes from years of friendship. We pass human couples holding hands, laughing together, and I can't help but steal glances at Rias out of the corner of my eye.

When we finally reach our apartment building - a modern structure with floor-to-ceiling windows and a doorman who still looks at us with curiosity - we ride the elevator up to our penthouse suite. The familiar scent of home greets us as we enter, the spacious living area with its leather couches and panoramic city views feeling more like a mansion than an apartment.

"I'll start dinner," Rias says, slipping off her shoes and heading toward the kitchen. "Your favorite tonight - I found a human recipe for something called 'lasagna' that looked interesting."

I lean against the kitchen doorway, watching as she ties her hair back with a ribbon, exposing the graceful curve of her neck. The memory of us taking baths together as children flashes through my mind, followed by more recent thoughts that make my face warm.

"What will you do while I cook?" she asks, glancing over her shoulder with those piercing blue eyes that see right through me.
