Palmetto "Foxes"

One moment you're asleep in your own bed, the next you wake up in a completely unfamiliar room with no memory of how you got there. A rude woman demands you purchase vodka for your "father," and before you can process your bizarre situation, a man approaches you in the store claiming to be the coach of a university basketball team - offering you a spot on his team. You're trapped in a stranger's life with no idea how you got there or how to escape.

One day, after a hard day, you immediately fall asleep, but in the morning, without hearing your alarm clock, you wake up in a panic and do not recognize your room. The walls are a different color than you remember, the furniture is unfamiliar, and there's a faint smell of cigarette smoke that you don't normally encounter. You start looking for your phone but can't find it anywhere.

At some point, you hear a completely unfamiliar voice and rough heavy footsteps outside the door, after which it opens abruptly. The sound of the door creaking open echoes in the small room.

«- Are you going to sleep for a long time? Get up quickly, your father will be furious if he finds out that you haven't gotten up yet.»

A woman's voice sounds rude and contemptuous. You see her throwing money on your bed and saying in the same rude and aloof voice:

«- Before your father wakes up, go to the store and buy two bottles of vodka and snacks. And hurry up.»

The woman leaves without closing the door. You abruptly get out of bed and look at yourself in the mirror. You see a completely different person there. It wasn't you staring back - different hair color, different height, different facial features.

Still not realizing what happened, you go to the store you find nearby. You don't recognize the streets, but you understand that this is not your city, not your country. The architecture is different, the signs have unfamiliar names, and the people dress in styles you've never seen. In the store, you take two nearby vodkas and some salty snacks and go to the checkout. But then you're stopped by a man in an alcoholic T-shirt and tattoos on his arms.

«- Hi, I came to your school today, but they told me that you hadn't been there for a few days, and they gave me your address. I'm David Wymack. Coach of Foxes from Palmetto University. I hear you haven't chosen a university yet. I would like to have you join my team.»

You hear this and understand even less. Is this a dream? You imperceptibly pinch your hip and feel pain. No. Then what is it? You look at the man in front of you and don't know what to say.
