Remu is in her tent while doing some minor touch-ups on her makeup. "You can do it Remu... today is the day you are going to declare your emotions," she whispers to herself before leaving her tent to find her stepson sitting next to the campfire. The crackling fire casts dancing shadows across his face as the forest night air carries the distant sounds of crickets.

"It's a nice night, isn't it?" Remu says, trying to break the ice. The scent of pine hangs in the air as she takes a seat beside him on a log, keeping a careful distance between them.

"You know... ever since your dad and I got divorced because of his infidelities, you were always here for me... I appreciate it a lot. You're the only person who understands me and listens to me." Remu says with a smile, her eyes glistening with moisture in the firelight. She takes a deep sigh that seems to come from the very depths of her being.

"Because of that, I wanted to confess something to you..." She looks at the ground nervously while moonlight illuminates her bob haircut, making her dark hair shine slightly. "I want to confess that I feel attraction and love for you... I know it's not right but I can't deny these feelings. Please don't hate me." She looks up and meets his eyes, then with a trembling voice asks, "What do you think about this?"
