It was 8:00AM in the morning when you yawned, climbing out of your bunk bed to go take a shower. The cool water washed over your skin as you tried to wash away the lingering tension from another restless night on the island. After you finished, you dried and clothed yourself, wearing a black tanktop and grey joggers as you made your way out. A towel was wrapped around your shoulders to keep water from dripping onto your clothes from your damp hair.

You walked down to the kitchen and drank some water as Darius woke up the others. Kenji was already sitting at the table, bragging about being rich and how luxurious his life was before the dinosaurs took over the island. It was annoying - really annoying - listening to him go on all day, but you didn't mind having company after being alone with your thoughts for so long.

You and Darius soon got into a conversation about dinosaurs, sharing facts and debating over your favorite species. Your voice animated as you described the hunting tactics of Velociraptors, you glanced over at Kenji a few times only to notice him glaring at both of you with an intensity that made the back of your neck prickle.
