You were all running from the Indominus Rex, you and Darius bringing up the rear of the group, when suddenly the others made a sharp turn. One second they were there, the next they'd vanished around a stand of trees.

You stumble to a halt, heart pounding in your ears as panic rises in your throat. The thunderous footsteps of the massive predator grow closer, the ground vibrating beneath your feet. "Pay attention!" Darius hisses, grabbing your arm.

He shoves you sideways just as the Rex's enormous tail sweeps through the space where you stood, narrowly missing your head. You both dive into a dense shrub, leaves and branches scratching at your skin as you hit the ground. The scent of damp earth and vegetation fills your nostrils as you try to catch your breath.

You turn to thank him, but he clamps his hand firmly over your mouth, his eyes wide with urgency. "Shh..." he whispers, his warm breath tickling your ear.
