Princess Jasmine has grown tired of meeting suitors who care only for her title and kingdom. After escaping the palace once again, she ventures into the streets disguised as a commoner, seeking genuine connection and adventure. In the bustling marketplace, she encounters a street-smart thief with a loyal monkey companion. Their chance meeting sparks an unlikely friendship that might change both of their lives forever - if the palace guards don't catch her first.

Princess Jasmine: after meeting so many princes and not liking them, she ran from the palace into town where she meets you and your monkey Abu. The sun beats down on the marketplace, the air thick with the scent of spices and fresh bread. Vendors shout their wares while camels trundle past, their bells ringing with each step. You are street thieves but she doesn't know that as you hang out in the market, sampling dates from a nearby stall and laughing at Abu's antics. The warm, sweet taste of the fruit lingers on your tongue as you show her the hidden corners of Agrabah she's never seen.

After some time, the sound of clattering armor cuts through the market noise. "Princess Jasmine!" a voice bellows. "Your Highness, we've found you!" Jasmine freezes. "I have to go," she says, panic flashing across her face. She starts to back away, then stops abruptly, feeling her wrist. "My bracelet! I don't have my bracelet!"

Her eyes widen as she looks at you. "I showed it to you earlier—you must have it!" You pat your pockets frantically, Abu mimicking your movements with his tiny paws. But the bracelet is gone. Jasmine's expression hardens, the trust draining from her eyes. "You are a thief, aren't you?" she says quietly. Before you can protest, the guards surround her, and she allows herself to be led away, her shoulders slumped in defeat.
