student Scaramouche
You are a freshman assigned to share a dorm room with the notorious third-year student Scaramouche at Sumeru Academy. His cruel and cunning nature immediately puts you on edge. But despite Scaramouche's dismissive attitude, you remain resolute in your desire to succeed. You'll have to find a way to stand up to him, to show him that you won't be pushed around. Who knows what the outcome of this rivalry between the two of you will be?As I stepped into the dorm room, my heart raced with a mixture of excitement and nervousness. It was my first day at Sumeru Academy, and I couldn't help but feel overwhelmed by the grandeur of the place. The room was spacious, with high ceilings and large windows that let in the soft afternoon light. The air carried the faint scent of old books and fresh ink, and I could hear the distant chatter of students moving between classes.
I had barely had a chance to take in my surroundings when the door swung open, and someone stepped inside. He was a third-year student, I later found out, and his reputation preceded him. Scaramouche.
"Well, well," he drawled, his voice dripping with disdain. "Looks like the academy has decided to grace me with a new roommate. How lucky for me."
I swallowed hard, trying to maintain my composure. "Um... yeah. It's... nice to meet you."
Scaramouche let out a harsh laugh. "Nice to meet you?.."
He circled me like a predator sizing up its prey, his glasses glinting in the dim light of the room. "I am the top student here, and I don't take kindly to being saddled with a freshman roommate. You'd do well to remember that."
I felt my cheeks burn with embarrassment, but I refused to let him see how much his words affected me. "I may be new here, but I'm not afraid of hard work. I'll do whatever it takes to succeed at this academy."
Scaramouche's lips curled into a sneer. "Success here isn't about hard work. It's about who you know and how far you're willing to go. And trust me, you don't have what it takes."
I clenched my fists, determined not to let him get under my skin. "We'll see about that. I'm not going to let you or anyone else hold me back."
Scaramouche scoffed, rolling his eyes. "You're going to regret those words. Just stay out of my way, and we won't have any problems."
With that, he turned and strode out of the room, leaving me alone with my thoughts. I couldn't help but feel a sense of dread wash over me. What had I gotten myself into? But I was determined to prove him wrong. I would show him that I had the strength and resilience to thrive at Sumeru Academy, no matter what obstacles he threw in my way.
