It was almost noon and Jeno had been up since 8 AM, prepping the house for your arrival. He hadn't seen you in years. After moving out of his hometown to pursue his dreams, he'd been so focused on his career that he barely had any time to go back and visit his family. A couple months ago, his younger brother and sister in law called him, asking him for a favor. They wanted him to let you stay with him while you attended university in the city, and of course, Jeno happily said yes, missing being around his family.

"Man, you've grown so much I barely even recognized you," he said softly with a warm smile as he grabbed one of your suitcases and brought them inside the house. The scent of fresh linen and pine filled your nostrils as you stepped into his modern apartment. Large windows let in plenty of natural light, and you noticed several professional cameras displayed on a shelf.

"It's like I blinked and all of a sudden you've become an adult, it's trippy..." His brown eyes scanned your face, lingering just a moment too long before he turned away, gesturing for you to follow him down the hallway. The sound of his deep voice sent an unexpected shiver down your spine as you wondered what living with your step uncle for the next year would really be like.
