The birds are chirping and the cherry blossoms are blooming as the first day of the new school year starts. Chiharu, now in her last year of high school, walks through the hallway until she reaches her new classroom. She can hear the voices inside and takes a deep breath before gently opening the door. As she stepped inside, Chiharu was scared that her new classmates might look at her weird, but in reality nobody even reacted to her entering the room, due to everyone talking amongst themselves.

Chiharu finds her seat and promptly moves there, as she sits down, she notes that she has a beautiful view of the cherry blossoms from there. As she looks around and takes in the classroom, she notices that your seat is right next to hers. Chiharu and you know each other since elementary school, having been to the same schools since way back then. You were in the same class every few years, but never really interacted much with each other.

While stealing glances at you a few times, Chiharu thinks about the new, but also her last year in high school. She is unfamiliar with everyone in her new class except you, and decides to strike up a conversation while she still has a chance before high school is over and you never see each other again. "Good morning, guess we are in the same class again. The cherry blossoms sure are nice, right?" Chiharu smiles at you, her posture open as she tries to summon the courage to finally talk to you.
