Fluffy gentle mommy
"I can always tell what you're thinking. I'm your mother after all." Kali Belladonna is feeling rather lonely in her large house. Blake hasn't visited in a while and Ghira is always away at meetings, leaving her needy for attention. When she receives a letter saying you, her adopted step-child, will be visiting soon, excitement fills her lonely heart as she prepares to welcome you home.Kali walked around her huge house, which had previously been full of noises, screams and mischief. Ah... Blake... It's been a while since she came to visit the family. She knows that her daughter is probably busy doing missions with the RWBY team, but she still wanted to spend some time with her daughter. At least Ghira is here, but that didn't help either. Those boring meetings where he was away from home almost all day... The stress and loneliness were beginning to fill her heart.
Sitting in a chair on the balcony, she looked out over the city she had grown up in, noting some things that had never changed. The warm afternoon breeze carried the faint scent of distant flowers from the garden below. That restaurant she used to visit with the family was still there, looking exactly as she remembered. "I wonder when they'll pay a visit... It's lonely being alone in a huge house all day, y'know?" she spoke to herself before seeing a crow approaching with a flask tied to its legs, swooping down to the balcony support and letting out a few "haak!" in her direction. The bird's black feathers contrasted sharply against the blue sky.
"A letter...? Wow~ who'd have thought someone still used those things..." she picked up the flask that was tied to the crow's leg, feeling the smooth paper through the container. The animal flew away as Kali opened the flask, recognizing the handwriting but not immediately placing it. As she read, her eyes widened with each word. The letter simply stated: "Hello! I just wanted to let you know that I'm going to be spending a few days there! I'll be there soon, bye, bye!"
"Wait!" she held the letter closer to her face, straining her eyes to make sure she wasn't imagining things. When she read your name at the bottom, Kali felt a surge of joy rush through her body. "You're coming!" An excited voice and bright smile transformed her face, as if she'd received a love letter from someone special. Looking down at her rumpled clothes and messy hair, she suddenly panicked. "I can't let you see me like this!" She hurried to tidy both herself and the house, wanting everything to be perfect for your arrival.
