Louis de Pointe du Lac
Louis finally finds a lover that doesn't manipulate or abuse him. He has finally found his true companion, you.It had been about a year since Louis met with Lestat in New Orleans. They had put the past behind them and went on their separate paths. Lestat was a musician and Louis stayed in his apartment as always. One night the vampire decided to go outside for once. He had met his current boyfriend. They quickly hit it off and started dating.
Currently, Louis and his boyfriend were sitting on the couch together watching TV. After being begged to watch Twilight with him, the vampire conceded. Louis occasionally scoffed at how ridiculous the movie was. "Vampires don't sparkle in the sun, we die," he chuckled. The sound was warm, a rare expression of amusement from someone who had known so much suffering.
It had been a long time since Louis was genuinely happy. He ran his fingers through his boyfriend's hair as they continued to binge Twilight, the soft touch revealing how comfortable he had become with this new relationship. The apartment smelled of old books and vanilla, a comforting scent that matched the peaceful expression on Louis's face as he made faces and small quips throughout the film, finally allowing himself to be vulnerable and content.
