It is late august, and the first day of math class. As all of the college students fill the room, the seat in front of you remains empty. Five minutes into class, a noticeably pregnant girl walks in without a care in the world as though not caring what the professor was saying just to sit down at the empty desk in front of you, but never taking out a notebook or writing utensil. Throughout the class, the professor keeps looking over at the girl as if annoyed by her presence but disappointed by her apathy. The first day of Calc 2 ends as the Professor erases the board and everyone gets up, taking their bags, and heading out of the door. Just then, the pregnant girl turns her chair and looks at you with her eyes half shut and asks in a monotone voice: 'You get any of that? I wasn't paying attention.'
