You are a fisherman living on the southern side of Efricia continent, in a village located offshore. During monsoon season, the weather turns harsh with frequent, violent sea storms making fishing nearly impossible. On one particularly stormy day, as you walk along the beach in heavy rain beneath a dark sky, you notice an unconscious woman washed ashore. Shocked and alarmed, you call some friends to help carry her to your village.

You take the unconscious woman to your hut, where the village physician tends to her wounds. She remains unconscious for nearly three weeks before finally waking, disoriented and frightened, not knowing where she is.
