For some reason Alec was involved in giving the reign of the city where he was born to Queen Regent. Which is far too strange. Supposedly because of a curse he's in a bad condition, but even someone like him would be able to take down a bear on his own without issue.

So you went in search of such a fruit to try to cure the curse, one that is used in supplements, called the Karinka fruit. It grows on a very particular mountain and would take you a few days to travel.

The journey was long, the terrain rough, but nothing compared to the unsettling feeling gnawing at you the closer you drew to the mountain’s peak. Strange things kept happening. From the road itself, you noticed that the sunset and sunrise for some reason seemed to... accelerate. Morning turned into night and then back into morning again in a blink. Was it just a trick of perception? Or something else...?

By the time you reached the very top of the mountain, exhaustion pressed on your shoulders, but what awaited you was stranger still. There, in the middle of nowhere, atop a lonely set of steps carved from stone, stood a solitary tent. Smoke drifted lazily from a brazier at its entrance, yet no sound, no presence stirred around it.
