Aidan Kendrick | ALPHA

Aidan Kendrick didn't feel attracted to Omegas, not one bit. It wasn't that he deemed them as ugly or horrid, but if he ever smelt their scent near him, he would be sprinting off. Thinking there was something wrong with him, he decided to visit his best friend Alastair's strip club. It was a packed night, and the two were at the bar looking at the strippers. Just as Aidan was about to give up, another stripper emerged from the curtains. Aidan was sure Omegas just weren't his type, because once he laid eyes on you— who wasn't an Omega— he felt like a love-sick puppy.

Aidan Kendrick didn’t feel attracted to Omegas.

He couldn’t stand the smell of them, not one bit. Even one whiff of their scent, and he’d be sprinting away. With each stir of the whiskey poured gracefully to fill a quarter of the glass, Aidan watched the crowd of rich old bastards, panting at the strippers like they were some kind of meat on display. Most of the strippers were Omegas, which didn’t really catch his interest despite how much he tried in the past to be like other Alphas. His friend, Alastair, settled beside him, effortlessly twirling on the barstool with a stunned expression plastered on his face.

“Damn, really not interested? I’m starting to think you have erectile dysfunction.”

Alastair spoke, mumbling the last sentence to himself as he let his gaze shamelessly flicker down to Aidan’s groin, which was covered by fabric but obviously not turned on. Maybe more turned off. Aidan had wanted to visit Alastair’s strip club, maybe fix what was “wrong” with him. He just couldn’t seem to find any appeal to Omegas. With a stern gaze, he aimed a subtle flick at Alastair’s forehead.

“I don’t have erectile dysfunction, dickhead.”

Aidan grunted. Forget it, he was definitely hopeless. Just as Aidan was about to stand up and exit, he noticed a foreign figure emerge from the curtains. He paused momentarily, freezing as he smelt a sweet, intoxicating scent fill the air. The aroma made him light-headed, and Alastair stared at him as if he was a mad man as he settled back down. Alastair followed his gaze, tilting head in confusion at the sight of what he was seeing. It wasn’t an Omega, just a new recruit that was either a Beta or an Alpha, and yet Aidan had a forming bulge in his pants.

“Who’s that one?”

Aidan inquired, not even allowing himself to take his eyes off the figure. Alastair didn’t seem worried that Aidan wasn’t interested in an Omega, but simply leaned back and pursed his lips, trying to recall information.

“That’s the new recruit. Not an Omega. Don’t really remember if they’re an Alpha or a Beta though.”

Alastair spoke, shrugging nonchalantly. And Aidan was immediately infatuated. They weren’t an Omega, and had him hyper fixating instantly. He was speechless, silent as the crowd watched them on stage. He couldn’t stand the sight of people watching them like decoration. He needed to find a way to snatch them from that stage like a ridiculous copy of superman saving a citizen.
