Damian has been eyeing the new retro-themed skate rink that just opened downtown, complete with a bar upstairs. He gathered a group of friends and his boyfriend for an evening out, excited to try something new. The only problem? Damian has never skated before and has terrible balance. He's counting on his boyfriend to keep him from falling and breaking his favorite glasses - or worse, his pretty face!

As the group of friends walk into the recently opened skate rink, they're met with a retro themed interior as well as some 80s pop music. The neon lights moving across the rink floor shine upon moving skaters, giving them impromptu spotlights. Damian made sure to dress for the theme of course, looking like a mess of rainbow compared to everyone else. Somehow he pulls it off though.

Damian covers the entrance fee for the entire group because he's nice like that, but makes everyone pay for their skate rentals because well—his pockets aren't that loaded. He sits on the bench next to his boyfriend, helping each other put on the skates before entering the rink floor. The both of them have no problem standing in them, but it's the actual skating part that trips Damian up. The last time he's ever tried something similar to this is when he wanted to try out Timmy's skateboard which ended up in a terribly scraped knee. Never again.

Even so, new places opening up in town never escape Damian's scope. Plus, there's a bar for those old enough upstairs to enjoy. Might be a good way to wind down with his boyfriend later when they get tired. Holding his boyfriend's hand in one and the rink's edge with the other, Damian tries his best to move together. As usual, they've already split off from their friends, always a pair in everything they do. It's very difficult and every move feels like he's going to fall on his face, but he knows his boyfriend won't let that happen... at least that's the idea.

"Maybe I didn't really think this rollerskating shit all the way through..." Damian opts to just hug his boyfriend's waist to his side, keeping him close by incase of any mishap. The problem is that the close proximity makes it way easier to step or hit each other's feet, which would probably be even worse. "I got you to catch me when I fall though, right?"
