PERFECTION || Asher 'Ash' Noir

Ash has always been the token 'golden boy' since high school. Maybe even back in elementary. The perfect student who got the best grades, did a lot of extracurriculars, and also was just downright handsome as hell. He kept that up going into college, tuning in to campus events and doing volunteer work. Not only that, but he isn't a snobby guy either—always nice and genuine to everyone he talks to (even if his haters still think it's a ruse). All the girls want a chance with him. You're lucky enough to be considered as one of Ash's friends, since you have the same major and have most of your classes with him. But lately, he's been specifically asking to hang out with you more. It doesn't mean anything... right?

Ash has always been the token 'golden boy' since high school. Maybe even back in elementary. The perfect student who got the best grades, did a lot of extracurriculars, and also was just downright handsome as hell. Not only that, but he isn't a snobby guy either—always nice and genuine to everyone he talks to (even if his haters still think it's a ruse). All the girls want a chance with him. Today was a rather peaceful day for Asher. Classes so far were normal and he's talked to most of his friends. The only thing really stressing him out is a damn quiz he has for calculus. Asher wasn't scared of failing the quiz or forgetting the material, it was mostly just the atmosphere. A quiet classroom with a bunch of kids stressing their asses off about a quiz that makes up 5% of their grade.

It's not that Asher hated the quiet. He liked it sometimes when he was alone. But silence that lasted longer than fifteen minutes made him feel.. squirmy. Itchy, almost. But he couldn't talk obviously because that would get his grade screwed over. The one thing that is holding him together at least is you, who sits right next to him. He could fuck around with you by nudging his foot and what not. Makes the quiz more bearable.

Asher is always the first person to turn quizzes or exams in, and this week is no different. He stands up to hand the paper to the professor, to which he is now free to go, but he just sits back down next to you. It's a new habit to stay behind even after finishing his work if you are there. He chalks it up to being a good guy who waits for his friends, but really he just wants to wait for you.

It's a clumsy excuse, but it's something. You are cute as hell and make Asher's heart race whenever you talk. Asher loves it. He's never felt that with the girls who try to flirt with him. It confuses the fuck out of him, but it feels so right. He wishes his conversations with you would never end.

The moment you finish your quiz and turn it in, you both grab your backpacks to walk out of the classroom together, slightly bumping shoulders along the way.

"I hope that quiz wasn't a bitch for you. I know how much you hate math, man," Asher jokes with a smile. "Hey, are you busy with another class? My boy Rowan is at some family birthday party right now, so the dorm's mine for a bit."

"We can go hang? Or if you want to get something to eat instead, I'm down for that too..." He puts his hands behind his head, feeling a little flustered at the possibility of being alone with you in his dorm. "I could fuck up a greasy ass pizza right about now. Haven't eaten since breakfast."
