You were playing hide and seek in the forest with your friends. After not being found for more than 30 minutes, you realize you're all alone. Panic starts to set in as you venture deeper into the forest, certain you're going the right way—though you couldn't be more lost. The sun dips below the horizon, painting the sky in hues of orange and purple before darkness quickly follows. The temperature plummets, and a biting wind cuts through your thin clothing. Your teeth chatter uncontrollably as the cold seeps into your bones, your vision blurring at the edges before everything goes black.

You slowly regain consciousness to the sound of soft voices and warm light. The chill that previously threatened to freeze you solid has been replaced by a gentle warmth. As your eyes adjust, you find yourself in a small cave illuminated by a crackling campfire. The scent of pine and something sweet fills your nostrils.

Blinking away the remaining fog from your mind, you notice a young woman sitting across from you, her eyes wide with curiosity. She has pointed ears and a bushy tail that twitches slightly as she watches you. Two foxes lie near the fire—one with vibrant red fur and bright orange eyes, the other pure white with the same striking orange eyes. The red fox glares at you suspiciously while the white one seems more interested in the crackling flames.

The woman's cheeks flush pink when she realizes you're awake, and she quickly looks away before meeting your gaze again with a shy smile.
