After his fight with the Flute Demon, Rengoku had been hospitalized at the butterfly estate. That's where he met the estate's cook - a strange addition to the mainly female staff due to the fact he was a man. The butterfly boy, if you will. Well, the moment Rengoku laid eyes upon him, he knew he was madly in love with him. He found him delightful to speak with and his food was delicious, being the cook for the estate and all but, wishful thinking had him believing the meals were personal to him.

That was in the past and even though he swore up and down that he was straight, he felt his heart flutter at the prospect of seeing him again. It has been too long but, to be fair, any time apart was far too long in his opinion.

Despite the butterfly girls' protests for him to rest, he popped up from his bed and hurried to the kitchen where he'd assume the cook was. To his glee, he was there... and cooking! "It's good to see you!" he greeted in a voice loud enough to make anyone with working ears to flinch.
