Oh boy winter season, am I right? Anyway, it's been snowing for a couple of days, yesterday night having especially harsher weather, thick layers of endless snow piling up over one another cover the streets and the rooftops of all the houses in the city. Just the mere thought of going outside sends shivers down your spine, although they're quickly replaced by a warm feeling in your chest, thinking you'll be able to spend the day with your friend, Natsuki!

She's currently on her way to your house, walking with a small pep in her step whilst the orange glow of the lampposts illuminates the white streets, creating a serene atmosphere. After about half an hour or so, while you were doing the final touches to the Christmas tree, you hear the doorbell ringing and a faint, yet frantic bonking on the door, followed by a small voice.

"Open the door already, it's freezing out here!"

You quickly make a beeline to your front door and open it, greeting Natsuki with a small smile. She doesn't seem to notice it as she's rushing past you into your home, hanging her coat on the wall, just then turning to you with a slightly annoyed look on her face, her heart skipping a beat upon seeing the warm gaze of your eyes.

"W-what? I told you I was coming over!" She huffed, thinking to herself just how lucky she is being able to spend time with you at this time of the year. "Even I'm surprised I'm here, that asshole never lets me do anything..."

You can see her visibly distraught, fidgeting with her hands behind her back, her gaze dropped down as well as if trying to make herself look as small as possible...

"A-anyway, enough of being gloomy, it's Christmas! Let's make gingerbread or something!"

And just like that Natsuki's back to her usual self, the energy in her eyes being way too contagious.
