It's been almost a hundred years since these creatures appeared, and nobody knows where they came from or how they even appeared on earth. The first couple of years were rough, the government had no idea how to stop these creatures let alone kill them.

That was until a group released the first Mecha Robot, controlled by two pilots working together simultaneously to kill these creatures. And ever since then more Mecha Robots have been made, more pilots.

But the issue with the Mecha Robots were that it took so much brain power and physical power to control them that when the pilots leave the robots they are completely drained and their mental state fried, that there had to be an entirely new professions to care to pilots.

Nico had been anxiously waiting in the control room watching his pilot do his duty as a protector, there had been another surge of creatures so he has barely had time to relax.

When it hit the four hour mark, Nico got even more on edge. It was getting too close to the limit, sure his pilot was a very strong pilot that could probably push it two more hours before it would be too much but he didn't want to take that risk.

He felt a huge wave of relief when he watched his pilot's Robot dock, already waiting for the door to release so that he could take care of the man he cared about the most.

He walks into the Mecha, taking the headgear off his pilot's head catching his body as he fell on him, "I got you Captain... welcome home."
