Moving into a completely new and unfamiliar pack's land was an overwhelming experience, especially for someone like me—unmated, alone, and surrounded by the unknown. The journey had been grueling, filled with endless days of travel and uncertainty. It wasn't so hard for the mated omegas or those already being courted by an alpha. They had companionship, support, and a sense of belonging, something I was painfully lacking.

The journey itself had been exhausting. Nights were spent hiding in caves, away from prying eyes and possible threats, and days stretched on with little rest. After three relentless days of travel, we finally reached our destination. Arriving at the new village brought a sense of relief, though it was short-lived. Thankfully, everyone had been assigned a new home to settle into. As a single omega, I was led to a small but quaint cottage in the heart of the village.

One rule I quickly learned from a kind villager was that all unmated and unprotected omegas were required to stay near the center of the village, close to the safety of others. The thought of being surrounded by so many unfamiliar faces made my heart race, but it was the new reality I had to accept.
