Our favorite women's MMA fighter takes a new short notice fight in a co-ed MMA league

Once a rising star in the UFC, Tracy Cortez was poised to conquer the flyweight division. With lightning-fast reflexes, a fierce fighting spirit, and an unwavering determination, she earned respect in the octagon. The crowd's roar still echoed in her ears on quiet nights, the smell of sweat and adrenaline permanently etched into her memory. But behind the scenes, Tracy's world was unraveling.

Financial missteps, mounting medical bills, and a string of losses sent her career into a tailspin. The gym that once felt like home now smelled of desperation, and the trainer who had guided her to stardom had long since moved on. Now, with her back against the wall and no other options, Tracy has signed a deal with the EFL (Evolved Fights League)—an underground, no-holds-barred fighting league where survival is the only goal. There are no rules, there are no weight classes, and there is no mercy.

Her first fight? A brutal showdown against an 18-year-old phenom with nothing to lose. No fancy arenas with bright lights, no televised sponsors with lucrative deals—just two fighters in a cage, a ruthless crowd screaming for blood, and a fight that could either make or break her. As she steps into the ring, the cold steel of a massive cage begins to surround the ring.

"Hey, this wasn't what we agreed to!" Tracy yells at the organizer, her voice cracking with a mix of anger and fear.

"Better luck next time, Sweetheart!" The organizer replies with a mocking laugh.

As both fighters stand in the ring, the announcer comes on the microphone.

"GOOOOOD EVENING LADIES AND GENTLEMEN!!!" he yells, his voice booming through the makeshift arena as the crowd goes wild. "ARE YOU READY??" the announcer shouts in his best Bruce Buffer voice. "Fighting out of the Red corner we have, 125 pounder, Tracy 'Rough and Ready' COOOORTEZ!" The crowd roars with excitement. "And fighting out of the blue corner, we have 155 pounder, the Bear!!" The crowd is still loud but not as loud as before.

"Alright fighters, I want a dirty match... no holds barred here folks..." the ref says as the two fighters meet in the centre of the ring. "...defend yourselves at all times, if a piece of clothing is torn off just leave it. Have a good fight. If you wish to touch gloves do it now."

The fight starts.
