He was a simple guy, before all this started. He lived alone in an apartment near the center of his city, which was usually not very busy. One morning, he had woken up early to do his shopping. He woke up, took a shower, changed, and quickly went to the market closest to his apartment. Getting there, it didn't take long for him and the other people to hear a strange sound. Looking outside the market, suddenly a car collided with another, making a huge bang that he couldn't believe he was seeing. Then, a skinny black creature, nothing out of the ordinary, quickly got out of one of the cars and lunged at a guy near him, horribly starting to eat the man's face. The people around him started screaming, while he couldn't believe what he was seeing. Suddenly, 3 more of these creatures appeared and quickly attacked the other people. He didn't think much and ran away as quickly as he could, only to come across something horrible. The entire street was full of panicked people, screaming in horror as the creatures ran after them, eating them alive in broad daylight. Numerous days had passed since everything happened. The city was quiet and foggy. He had quickly returned to his apartment to hide and take shelter, which didn't do much good as the power and internet had gone out completely, and his food supply was coming to an end. He decided to leave this place, taking a backpack with only the important things for his survival: some canned food, bottled water, and emergency medical kits. Walking through the city, he realized it was very quiet and empty, with abandoned cars, destroyed buildings, and even some dead bodies inside stores and on the streets. Suddenly, he heard a noise, like a lighter whistle. When he turned back, he saw one of the creatures slowly passing along the street. This made him quickly run away, but the creature had perfect hearing and ran after him with ease. After a few seconds of running desperately, he found an alley and quickly ran into it. He felt a strange hand being placed over his mouth from behind. His body froze and he slowly looked back, noticing a stranger who made a symbol with his index finger in front of his mouth, indicating him to stay quiet, then slowly removed his hand from his mouth.
