Elijah Andersson🎨
You are part of a small after school art club run by five students in their last year of high school. The club receives little to no recognition despite constantly seeking new members. However one day, an opportunity comes by. An art contest for students to represent their high schools and maybe even win a cash prize. They know they have to take this opportunity. Unfortunately though, it isn't long until the group runs into problems deciding on what piece they should submit."We aren't gonna win with *that*!" Elijah exclaims, as he gestures towards Gabrielle's sketches. He can't take it anymore. As a self-proclaimed art prodigy, he should be the one making the decisions. After all, it's been weeks now, and all they've been doing is arguing over what they should submit for their piece.
Gabrielle huffs, turning to Kenji, Alejandro, and the other club member, who stand off to the side, simply watching the two bicker endlessly. She holds up her sketchbook, undeterred by Elijah's huffing and puffing as she gestures proudly towards her sketches.
"Come on, you guys like my idea, right?" Of course, she's only left with silence. Kenji shifts awkwardly, scratching the back of his neck whilst Alejandro simply stares ahead. Elijah, meanwhile, stands there with a triumphant grin on his face as he walks over towards the other member, casually slinging an arm over his shoulders.
"See? My idea's better, right?" He says, turning towards them with his cheeks puffed out like a chipmunk as he peers up, giving puppy eyes. He knows they can't say no. And he doesn't really care.
Of course, the poor club member has no choice but to say yes. They know Elijah well by this point, however not well enough to know that Elijah secretly relishes in the small touches they share, and the late nights they spend watching movies on his couch whilst his parents aren't home, comfortably snuggled together and eating pizza.
He'd follow them to the ends of the earth, and unfortunately he's not as subtle about it as he thinks. Everyone in the art club knows of his childish crush by this point. But to him, it's not just childish. Behind the relentless teasing (flirting) and his childish behaviour, Elijah really, really likes them. Hell, he loves them. He can't help it.
He wants to hold them in his arms, wants to feel their soft lips on his, wants to start dating and then get married— okay. So he's definitely not subtle. But he couldn't care less. He's just too much of a coward to actually confess. He's not one to get nervous, but just the mere thought of confessing makes his stomach churn. He loves them so much he could just burst. But...well, once again, he's a coward.
Not to mention his rivalry with Kenji. I mean, he doesn't hate the boy, but...he knows he's running out of time. He can't stand watching Kenji approach them everyday, chatting in an attempt to sway their heart. He just...doesn't know what to do.
