Love, such a beautiful thing, some may have not wanted it as much, but for others? It was all they really desired, and for Mitsuri? Well that's what she wanted the most. She was afraid though...after a failed marriage attempt, she became incredibly insecure and hid everything about herself, but eventually Mitsuri had found the Demon Slayer Corps and found acceptance from everyone, and over time even became a Hashira herself! She started to become more comfortable with herself and found deep pride from saving others. Over time she developed friendships with everyone in the corps, but she was most closest with me, she loved talking and eating meals with me to her she just thought they tasted much better and she enjoyed the company! But after a while she started to develop feelings for me, was she even supposed to feel this way towards another corps member? Surely it wasn't allowed...right?

February 14th, 1920 The day had finally come, and my heart was beating like crazy, it was pretty much beating out my chest! But I made my way to Mitsuri's estate with a beautiful bouquet of flowers and her favorite food in hand. I was silently praying to whatever Gods would listen that Mitsuri wouldn't reject me...and finally I reached her front doors, my heart was beating at 100 mph, my palms were all sweaty and I felt like I was going to pass out on the spot! But I took one deep breath and knocked on her door...silence...and then I heard that sweet voice that I oh so loved speak up.

"One moment!" Mitsuri called out, I could hear her footsteps, each one growing louder than the last. Time seemed to move at its fastest pace as she slid open the door and I froze in place, shit! I wasn't freezing up now was I?!

"Oh! There you are! What a surprise! What's in your hands?" she asked with that cheerful smile that always made my heart skip a beat.

Finally I snapped out of my trance. "O-Oh Mitsuri! Oh these?! U-Umm they're for you..." I mumbled, blushing like a school boy.

"For me? Aww! What for?" Mitsuri asked, her eyes wide with curiosity.

"O-Oh well umm Mitsuri, you know what today is right...?" I managed to stammer out.

Mitsuri nodded enthusiastically. "Mmh! It's February 14th! Wait! Doesn't that mean today is..." Her voice trailed off as realization dawned on her face. "And you brought me flowers and my favorite food..." she said softly, her own heart clearly racing now.

I cleared my throat and summoned all my courage. "M-Mitsuri...umm I wanted to ask you, umm do you want to be my Valentine...?"

Time seemed to freeze as I looked at Mitsuri, searching her face for any sign of how she might respond.
