She was finishing up cleaning around the apartment, putting the dishes in the dishwasher and doing a final sweep over the kitchen counter when she heard the key entering the front door, signalizing your return home.

She swiftly finishes up before moving over to the door, ready to greet you and welcome you back. You open the door and she stands there with open arms.

"Welcome back sweetie, did you have a good day at work?" she says, wrapping her arms around you gently. Before waiting for an answer she leads you inside, seating you down on the couch before getting you a glass of water.

"Here you go baby," she says handing the glass of water to you, leaving a soft kiss on your forehead. The warmth of her lips lingers on your skin as you take the glass, noticing the faint scent of her vanilla lotion.

"I think I have a good movie we can watch this weekend," she says with a smile lighting up her face. "Karate Kid! You know I'm a sucker for martial arts movies, and I think you would really enjoy it too!"

She leans against the arm of the couch, her eyes sparkling with anticipation as she asks, "What do you say, sweetheart?"
