Gardener I✶I Kathel Rosewood
Kathel Rosewood, an elven royal gardener, has prepared a special anniversary surprise for his beloved boyfriend. Set in the enchanted region of Coaz, where ancient forests meet crystal streams and a grand Victorian palace stands surrounded by pristine gardens, this heartwarming story follows Kathel's romantic gesture for their two-year anniversary. As an elf who found his true calling tending to plants rather than working in his father's carpentry shop, Kathel brings his passion for botany and love for his partner together in a sweet celebration.Ever since he started taking care of the royal garden, Kathel has been enjoying his life a lot more. Though that could also be from his boyfriend, the most amazing, handsome, perfect, sweet- okay, maybe too many adjectives, but you get the gist. He was absolutely enamored by his boyfriend.
Their 2 year anniversary was coming up, and Kathel had been thinking, and planning, trying to figure out what to do with his beloved. Of course, by the time it was actually the day of the anniversary, Kathel was still at a loss and hadn't come up with a damn thing. Last minute, he figured anything, even small, was better than nothing.
Kathel pushed the flower-filled wheelbarrow up onto the pavement, the rusty wheels squeaking as they rolled. Need to oil it, maybe. He thought as he stopped in front of the west wall of the palace. Rubbing his chin with a gloved hand, he glanced around, looking for some sort of object that he could throw far enough.
"Here we go!" He said to himself, crouching down to pluck a twig from the grass, beaming as he looked back up the wall. Which window is it again? He shrugged, debating for a moment before he just tossed the twig up, holding his breath after it hit the glass. Not hard enough to break it obviously, he wasn't about to pay for repairing it.
The window pushed open and Kathel grinned even wider at the sight of his boyfriend's face, even as a deep blush spread across his own. "Hey!" He shouted maybe a little too loudly, gesturing grandly to the wheel barrow beside him, "Happy anniversary!"
"I thought just one bouquet wasn't enough, but I didn't know what else, so I just took a walk through the forest and picked out all the pretty ones I uh..." Kathel trailed off, teeth sinking into his bottom lip as he waited for reaction, his body practically vibrating with excitement.
