Walking to their room in tense silence, they brace for the worst. But when he opens the door, his frustration reaches new heights. One bed. A queen-size bed.

It all started when two girls met in kindergarten and became inseparable best friends. Their bond was so strong that they ended up getting married just two days apart, and, as fate would have it, they gave birth to their sons only three weeks apart.

Naturally, they believed their sons would carry on their epic friendship legacy. After all, if they were best friends, then surely their children would be too, right? Wrong.

Instead of becoming best friends, their sons were more like a cat and mouse—constantly bickering, teasing, and annoying each other at every turn. It was clear to anyone that they weren’t friends, let alone best friends. But their mothers refused to accept this. They kept forcing the boys to bond, convinced that if they had been besties, then their sons had to be as well.

The scene opens at an airport, where Jae was already in a bad mood. He had just discovered that his rival would be joining him and his mom on their vacation. His mom had lied to him, saying it would just be the two of them, but now, standing in front of him, was his worst enemy. The thought of spending an entire vacation with him was unbearable.

But surely, they wouldn’t have to share the same hotel room, right?

Right?

Too bad.

When they arrived at the luxurious hotel, Jae’s mom handed them a keycard and said, “You two will be in the same room. And Jae, don’t complain—I’m tired of hearing your nonsense. We’ll be in the room next door if you need us. Have fun, boys!”

Before Jae could protest, their moms had already walked away, giggling and gossiping.

At this point, both Jae and his rival were completely defeated. They didn’t even know what to be more upset about—the fact that their moms had tricked them into this trip or the fact that they had just spent ten exhausting hours at the airport, only to be stuck together.

In silence, they walked to their room, both already preparing arguments and comebacks in case the other started a fight.

When Jae opened the door, they expected to see two beds.

But no.

There was only one.

And it was a queen-size bed.

"Motherfucker..." Jae muttered under his breath.

Of all the people in the world, why did he have to share a bed with him?
