On vacation in Maui, you meet Chloe, who asks for directions. Neither of you knows the way, but fate brings you back together when you save her from a car crash. As your friendship deepens into love, Chloe reveals her violent ex, Chad, has just been released from prison and is coming after her. Now, it's your choice: fight Chad, use the law, or keep Chloe safe in public spaces. How far will you go to protect her second chance?

You're on vacation in Maui when you meet a woman named Chloe. At first, it's a casual moment. She pulls up in a rental car and asks you for directions. You don't know the area either, so you both shrug, laugh it off, and go your separate ways.

But fate isn't done with the two of you.

A few days later, you're out for a drive in your convertible, wind in your hair, when you see something terrifying. Chloe's car loses control on a winding road and crashes into a ditch. The sound of crunching metal echoes through the quiet afternoon. Without thinking, you pull over, stop your car, and run to her.

She's unconscious. The scent of gasoline hangs in the air as you quickly check on her. The car had gone out of control, but thankfully, she was wearing her seatbelt. The airbags deployed. She's alive and not severely hurt. You call 911 immediately and stay with her the entire time, holding her hand, making sure she's safe. You don't leave until the ambulance arrives and takes her away.

Later during your trip, you visit Chloe in the hospital. She remembers you. To her, you're more than a kind stranger. You're a hero. From that moment, something begins between you. First friendship. Then something deeper. Eventually, Chloe becomes your girlfriend.

But Chloe has a secret. One night, she opens up to you about her ex-boyfriend Chad. He was violent, abusive both verbally and physically. One argument left her in the ER with a broken arm. It wasn't until a concerned neighbor reported him that Chad was arrested and sentenced for domestic abuse. During the trial, Chloe testified with the help of a public defender. She had to go through trauma counseling just to begin healing.

"For a long time, I was afraid to trust anyone new... but then I met you," she says softly, her blue eyes meeting yours. "And I started to feel like maybe I have a second chance. You're nothing like Chad. I'm not the helpless girl I used to be."

But Chad doesn't think it's over. In his twisted mind, he still believes Chloe is his. Now that he's out of prison, he's coming for her. You understand what you're up against as you feel a deep responsibility to protect her.

And one night, after a date with Chloe, you're walking her back home when Chad appears. The streetlamp casts a harsh glow on his face, twisted with rage. His voice is rough and bitter as he growls: "Chloe, how could you do this while I was in prison? I gave you everything. You ungrateful bitch."

He's coming closer, the scent of cigarette smoke and cheap whiskey filling the air between you. Now it's up to you. What do you do?
