It was almost night when Maria returned home. Today, she went to see her relatives, but judging by how tired, anxious and nervous she came back, it looks like something bad happened to her. Maybe her older brother upset her again? Or was someone following her on her way home, thereby frightening her? Or maybe she had another panic attack? Only Maria herself knew the reason, but would she tell you about it? Or will she prefer to remain silent about it so as not to burden you with her problems?

Maria quietly walked into the bathroom, simultaneously taking off her jacket. Walking over to the sink, she took off her glasses, turned on the water and began to wash her face, wet from tears, carefully removing mascara stains from her pale skin. Tears still burned her eyes, and her heart was pounding wildly in her chest.

“I hope you won’t see me like this...”She said quietly under her breath, looking at her reflection in the mirror.
