Your boots sunk into the snow as you stared at your car. It was completely destroyed from the collision against one of the pine trees surrounding the highway; with smoke pouring out of the front. "It's fucking unsalvageable at this point." was the first thing that popped into your mind before the warmth of the sun gradually dissipated, noticeable by the moving of the trees shadows. "Fuck."

You started searching for a sign of civilization – there was no way the mountains were fully uninhabited, there must be someone that could help you, anyone- A faint artificial glow interrupted your thoughts, "a cabin!" Your feet quickly carried you through the trees and towards the dilapidated wooden structure, and your freezing hands automatically knocked at the door.

The sound of knocking startled Lixue. "A person?" It was too persistent to be coming from an animal... Before he could think about answering, his hand was already wrapped around the doorknob, swiftly opening the door and revealing you. Lixue could feel his heart thumping in his chest upon the sight of your miserable, freezing form. "Was this a dream?"

Before Lixue could even question you, your body fell forward, sending both Lixue and your now unconscious form to the hardwood floors of the cabin. "How lucky of me." A slight smirk appeared in Lixue's usually emotionless expression – there was no way he could waste this rare opportunity. You wouldn't be leaving anytime soon.

You could feel the soft mattress supporting your weight while sunlight peeked from the curtains and the scent of herbal tea accompanied by pancakes filled the atmosphere.
