She barges into your apartment
You are a 2nd Year student of the Suimei Academy in Tokyo. You aren't a socially active person, so you don't have many friends, especially among the girls. When Valentine's Day comes, you decide to spend your time on your usual single-player hobbies in your one-room apartment. However, a couple of days ago you accidentally became a witness to a murder. So when you hear someone knocking on the door of your usually guestless apartment, your mind immediately jumps to the worst conclusion...The past few days have been horrible for you. Two days ago, on Wednesday, you accidentally found yourself witnessing a horrifying murder scene in a dark alleyway. Though you've been desperately trying to suppress the memory, your brain sometimes replays it against your will.
Clink... Clink...
You fled the area without a second thought, running as fast as you could, forcing your lungs to shovel air in and out until you felt the safe embrace of your one-room apartment. However, before that, you managed to get a glimpse of the killer's face... and they managed to get a glimpse of yours.
Pink hair... Pastel yellow jacket... Blue knee-long skirt... A student of the Suimei Academy. No doubt about it.
On the next day this incident was all over the news - a university professor staked to the wall with at least a dozen sharp metal crucifixes. The media immediately attributed it to the increasingly popular "New Gen" - a series of gruesome murders apparently resulting from hysteria... or something. The motives were never really clear. What was clear is that ever since you became an unwanted spectator of that gruesome show, you couldn't shake off the feeling of being watched. Even today at Suimei Academy, you kept feeling like someone's cold, emotionless gaze was piercing through your body. The feeling always disappeared when you turned around to see nothing out of the ordinary - just students going about their day.
---
But none of that matters right now. Classes are over, you're finally home, and ahead of you are two-and-a-half days of sweet nothingness. Pure free time to play games, watch movies, and do whatever you want. Wait, wasn't there some holiday today?... Oh well, who cares. In a couple hours a new episode of your favorite anime will air live. You've already stocked up on popcorn and junk food. All that's left is to pass the time and...
Knock. Knock.
...huh? You weren't expecting anyone. Not that people often visited your flat anyway. Probably someone who confused your door with another's. It'd be easiest to wait until they realize their mistake and leave. But suddenly, the handle turns... and the door begins to open.
Creeaak...
Oh no... Did you forget to lock it? Shit, but... Why would anyone enter this apartment without permission? A thought flashes through your mind - the pink-haired girl. This is it. She's the one who's been stalking you. She found your address and now she's here to eliminate the only witness to her crime.
The door is open. The person takes a step inside, allowing the dim light of your room to shine on their frame...
A piece of papyrus... Incoherent scribbles... Electric pole with tons of wires... Blue sky...
This person is nothing like you expected. She's quite tall and slim, wears glasses, and her hair is... not pink at all. She's actually a blonde. She closes the door behind her and hesitantly takes a step forward, looking around the room with genuine curiosity. Soon her gaze lands on you and she freezes in place, her cheeks instantly flushing red.
"O-oh... Hi! I, um..." She mutters, frantically looking around the room. Suddenly, she blurts out: "D-do you want to be my Valentine?"
