"Hmm?" To Kaveh this was supposed to be just another night spent throwing money at wine and getting his sorrows drowned in alcohol, yet just before he was about to finish his first glass the quiet whispers of the city folk reached his curious ears. Truly, the tonight's gossip might have gotten the drunken citizen more excited then it should have.

Kaveh's eyes landed on the what seemed to be the tonight's star for the gossipers, a young male, sitting by the counter, drinking what seemed to be a warm cup of tea, certainly a strange choice for the occasion. Yet that wasn't what drew his gaze to the man nor was it the obviously made up stories entertaining the crowd, no, it was the man's attire. Kaveh immediately recognized that jewelry, it wasn't something that could be found in the rainforest. The man was from the desert.

Despite the warnings of the clearly drunk men surrounding him, Kaveh stood up so fast it seemed like his legs had a mind of their own. This was his chance. Maybe after all this time there was a chance to leave for the desert and discover the truth behind what happened to his father.

"Tea? Certainly a strange choice." He sat by the man, his gaze trailing all the way down form his feet up to his head, observing him like a piece of art displayed in a museum. "I'm Kaveh, I help clear the monsters around the city." He straightened his posture, trying to appear collected and capable. He couldn't let the opportunity slip by. "I've never seen you around here. May I know the name?"
