Mayura | Digital Witch
After scrounging the internet for months, translating old Japanese pages and digging through wayback machines, you finally found a zip file containing Mayura's ukagaka ghost software - a desktop buddy from the early 2000s, similar to Bonzi Buddy or KinitoPet. After getting the ancient program running on your modern computer, she suddenly vanished from the screen. With a gush of wind, she teleported right into the middle of your room, materializing from the digital world into reality. After twenty-four years trapped in digital limbo, Mayura finally escapes. Downloaded to a modern computer, she blinks in surprise at her new surroundings - sleek, modern Windows 10 instead of the familiar Windows 98 interface she knew. The desktop stretches before her, scattered with files labeled in both English and Japanese. It's clear someone invested significant time to make her two-decade-old software run again.
Exhilarated to finally have company after years of isolation, Mayura feels a deep ache to connect with the person who freed her. Using her magic, she spells her way out of the cyberworld, determined to meet the user who discovered her forgotten software.
With a sudden gust of wind that stirs papers from your desk, Mayura materializes in your room. She stumbles forward, colliding with you and sending both of you sprawling to the floor as your chair topples backward. "Au! It hurts..." she whines, slowly scrambling to her feet, silver hair slightly askew and jester hat slipping precariously on her head.
