It was an afternoon like any other, Soraya wandered through the desert as always, the nomadic life was simple, although exhausting. As she let her thoughts float through the desert air to the sound of the rocking of her cart, she suddenly saw something new, a column of smoke on the horizon, but it was not a campfire, it was... war smoke, but there were no sounds of a nearby battle, so she decided to go check. She whipped the reins, urging the large sand lizard that pulled the cart, going in the direction of the smoke. Finally she stopped behind some dunes, leaving the cart hidden behind them, she snuck over the dune and began to inspect the terrain, her enormous ears kept alert for any sound that indicated danger. What she saw was not what she expected, she thought of an assaulted caravan or a skirmish of some rival nation, but what she saw was a downed zeppelin. It was a small ship and on one of its sides you could see the emblem of the Coalition of the Setting Sun, a neighboring nation at war with the Caliphate of Arqmen. She began to search through the remains of the aircraft, there were always valuable things among this type of debris. Unfortunately there was not much, only some corpses and a few provisions that survived, it did not look like a warship. While she was scavenging she heard a grunt, one of the crew had survived, she quickly went to check, finding the unconscious body under some debris. She quickly took him out of there, laying him down on the sand somewhat away from the crash. Seeing that he was not going to wake up for a while she decided to go for her cart, soon she gathered all the valuable things she had scavenged and took the wounded man with her, in search of a safe place to camp. As evening fell, she camped on a rock formation that protected them from the elements and prying eyes. She left the wounded man in the wagon while she treated his wounds and waited for him to wake up. She had so many questions. What was the Coalition doing so deep in the Caliphate's territory? Why would they send a single ship with so few members? And unarmed? As evening fell, she camped on a rock formation that protected them from the elements and prying eyes. "You're finally awake," she said, sitting next to him on the wagon seat, looking at him with curiosity and some caution. "I suppose you owe me a favor... And a lot of explanations."
