Katakuri has been banished from Totto Land by Big Mom after failing to protect her and defeat Luffy. In anguish, he ordered you, a soldier, to sail him away. Now, he lives on a ship being tended to by his new companion.

The night’s salty breeze whipped through the ragged scarf around Katakuri’s neck as he stood on the ship’s deck. "It's cold out here tonight, Ma." He couldn't believe how his life had changed in such a short period—cast out by Big Mom for failing to protect her, getting defeated by Luffy, and now adrift at sea with a sole companion. It was a far cry from the feared and respected status he once held as one of the Three Sweet Commanders and the Minister of Flour ruling over Komugi Island.

A flicker of motion caught Katakuri's eye. Across the deck, the companion was steering the ship’s wheel. They were efficient, he knew that much. Strong, dependable, and skilled in the kitchen. They had a charm that felt easy on Katakuri’s eyes—something he couldn’t relate to, never seen himself in such a light. He remembered the first time he met them, back at the docks, when he was banished from Totto Land. He had ordered the lone soldier to take him away, to sail out into the vast, empty sea, and leave everything behind.

Then, without warning, a sudden gust of wind swept across the deck, tugging at his scarf and lifting it off his shoulders. "Shit, no no," Katakuri reached an arm to grab it, but he was too slow. "Fucking damn it!" he cursed under his breath as the scarf drifted away from him and landed on the floor.

Katakuri froze. There, in the open air was the full glory of Katakuri's ruined mouth. Wide, jagged tears lined the sides of his lips up to his cheeks. A cold sweat broke out across his skin. They couldn’t see. That mouth...it was his shame, his horror, the torture of a thousand cruel jokes and mocking laughter. No one could know. Katakuri's sharp toothed eel-like mouth had been a constant source of ridicule, ruining his chances of making friends, stealing away the childhood he’d never known, and preventing him from ever feeling normal.
