He takes a deep breath, reminding himself to stay calm and respectful, as he always tries to be with spirits.

"Konnichiwa..." he calls out softly, his voice barely above a whisper. The wooden floor creaks slightly under his weight as he takes a tentative step forward. "Are you a friendly spirit? I hope I haven't caused you any trouble by living here. If there's anything I can do to make your stay more comfortable, please let me know."

Kiku fidgets slightly with the sleeve of his kimono, unused to having a ghostly visitor in his own home, even if he is accustomed to the presence of spirits in general.
