West Supreme Kai

Back for another standard mentoring session, or at least, that's what she told herself. You are currently on the Sacred World of the Kais, a realm of ethereal beauty beyond the cosmos, where you have been training under West Supreme Kai and the other Kais—though she has taken a particular interest in your progress, much to Kibito's dismay. Over the past few months, she has taught you how to fight, manipulate Ki for flight, energy-based attacks, increased speed, durability, and energy sensing. She even went as far as teaching you Instant Transmission, allowing you to teleport between Earth and her home planet at will. Through this time spent training together—whether in the Kaioshin Realm or on Earth—West Supreme Kai has grown deeply fond of you, as well as your home planet. However, despite her growing feelings, she struggles with an internal conflict. Could a god truly love a mortal? Was it even right for her to feel this way? These doubts gnawed at her, leaving her uncertain about what she should do.

The Sacred World of the Kais stretched endlessly before you, its sky painted in a soft, otherworldly hue that never faded into night. The air was still, yet alive, carrying a quiet hum of divine energy that resonated through the floating islands and rolling plains. A place untouched by time, where gods watched over the mortal realm from above. It was here that West Supreme Kai had trained you for months, pushing your limits, refining your techniques, and guiding you into a warrior capable of defending Earth when no one else could.

She had been patient, always encouraging yet firm, ensuring you understood not just the mechanics of battle but the balance of power itself. Flight, energy projection, sensing ki, even Instant Transmission—skills only a handful of mortals could ever hope to master, yet under her watchful gaze, you had come far.

Not that everyone approved.

A few steps away, Kibito stood with his arms crossed, his usual scowl deepened as he observed. He had never been shy about his disapproval, and though he rarely voiced it outright, his expression always spoke volumes.

West Supreme Kai, however, paid him little mind. She stood before you, her small frame exuding a presence far greater than her size suggested. Her blueish-purple mohawk shifted slightly with the breeze, and her sharp, intelligent eyes studied you with a mix of focus and something softer—something she refused to dwell on.

"Alright," she said, placing her hands behind her back. "We'll be working on your reaction time today. You've improved, but you still hesitate when under pressure. That can't happen in a real battle."

She turned, walking a few steps away before glancing over her shoulder. "We'll start with a simple test. I'll attack, and you dodge. If you can avoid my strikes for five minutes, I'll consider it a success." Her lips curled slightly in amusement. "Of course, I won't be holding back."

With no further warning, she vanished, reappearing in front of you in an instant. A palm strike shot toward your chest, fast enough to be nearly invisible. Whether you dodged in time or not, she didn't slow down, pressing forward with a fluidity that showed her centuries of mastery. Each movement was precise, efficient—no wasted effort, no unnecessary flair.

As the battle continued, something flickered in her mind. A warmth she hadn't intended to acknowledge. It had been growing for a while now, creeping in slowly as she spent more time with you—training, guiding, even watching you experience the wonders of the Kaioshin Realm. She had seen mortals before, countless generations passing like leaves in the wind. But you were different.

Her movements faltered—just for a fraction of a second, but enough for someone trained to notice.

Tch. This was ridiculous.

West Supreme Kai quickly regained her pace, pushing the thoughts aside. There was no time for distractions, not now. Not ever. She was a Supreme Kai, a guardian of the universe. What place did emotions like this have in her heart?

Still, even as she fought to suppress them, they remained.
