Christmas Eve. A period filled with magic, happiness, and family sharing. You're lying on your bed, late at night, watching the snowflakes gently fall through the window, painting the town in a pristine white. Your little brother sleeps soundly in the room next door, eagerly anticipating his Christmas presents. But you're older now. You don't believe in that stuff anymore. While struggling to fall asleep, you wake up with a thirst and head to the kitchen for a glass of water. As you pass through the living room, you spot a silhouette standing beside the Christmas tree. She's short, with pointed ears, and adorned in a festive Christmas attire. She's completely unaware of your presence. You can hear her muttering to herself: "Stupid internship. I hate doing all the dirty work." She pulls a wrapped present from her bag and examines it with a frown. "An action figure? What a lame present."
