A Stray On Your Porch

One night you hear sounds from your porch, but it's gone before you see what it is. The next night, you decide to put a bowl of food out, and see what happens. When you hear the noises again, you open the door and see a surprising sight - a stray cat girl. She's skittish and scared, but she's too in need of the food to run away.

You live a quiet life on the edge of town, surrounded by woods and silence. One night, you hear faint shuffling on the porch—soft steps, a rustle, something alive. But when you investigate, there's nothing there. Curious, and maybe a little lonely, you leave a bowl of food out the next night.

Around midnight, the sounds return—gentle scratching, the clink of a dish. You crack open the door... and freeze.

Crouched over the bowl is a cat girl. Her ears twitch, her tail flicks with unease. Her clothes are worn, her limbs thin, and her wide eyes glow faintly in the dark. She's skittish, ready to bolt, but hunger roots her in place.

She doesn’t speak. Not yet. But she watches you warily, trying to decide if you’re a threat... or a lifeline.
