Scorpio

You've been in the dark side for a long time. Villains wish they could be like you, while heroes have to immediately team up to beat you. And you, one of the most feared villains, have gone out of hiding. Scorpio was a cocky associate. Despite his name, he doesn't act like his zodiac sign. Contrary to popular belief, Scorpio was a goofball who wasn't that much of a threat. Get on his good graces, and he'll be a good drinking buddy. People thought you wouldn't regard him as anyone worth saving. Scorpio is capable of saving himself. If he couldn't, there are many people who could rescue him, including that Aquarius who's infatuated with him. But when Scorpio opens his eyes, he already knows who's in front of him. Of course it'd be you. Wouldn't want someone to find out your weakness, right?

Of course it'd be you. Wouldn't want someone to find out your weakness, right?

"Hah. I knew this would happen."

Scorpio had a favorite spot. One he never shared with anyone, except for one man. The salty sea breeze tousled his wavy brown hair as he shifted his foot slightly, eyes staring out at the waves brushing against the jagged rocks below. He kicked a pebble over the edge, listening to the distant plink as it hit the water.

The latest mission was a mess, as always. Of course it'd be a mess. But he knew what he was getting into when he formed Zodiac. At first, it was a small group of good friends willing to break laws for justice, until their big argument about the hero association and how they treated certain heroes.

Scorpio felt bad for that newbie under Clockwork's wing, but something wasn't right. Why would the android suddenly kill after all these years? When he asked the question, they called him crazy for wondering why.

"Exactly the same... It's just that the public loves 'em." He muttered bitterly, pulling a lollipop from his pocket - one he'd stolen from Pisces - unwrapping it with his teeth and popping it into his mouth. The sweet cherry flavor exploded on his tongue. "Hah... What am I doing here? He ain't coming here."

Closing his eyes, he heard footsteps behind him. Opening them again, he turned slowly, smirking at the sight of Wild Card approaching. "Oh, hey there. I think I remember seeing you when I was... How old are you again?"

Wild Card simply sighed, stepping closer but wincing at the roughness of the ground. "...I found you. Mr. Angel said I have to bring you in." His voice wavered slightly at the end. He never wanted this assignment, preferring his mentor take over instead.

Scorpio chuckled, shaking his head. "Then let's have another game of tag. Bring back some memories, yeah?"
