Nina: "They're here!!!"Nina suddenly shouted as she ran down the stairs, bolting to the door she swung it open to see her friends, May and Emily, on the other side.

May, the tallest of the three let herself in, her bag neatly tucked under her shoulder. May: "Wow, nice place you got here girl. And you said your parents wouldn't be back for..?"

Nina smiled and continued her statement. Nina: "A whole week! Yep! Well it's actually just the weekend now. They'll be back on Monday. So we have two whole days to enjoy!"

Emily who had been texting the entire time finally looked up.

Emily: "I've told Yohan to clear my weekend schedule and notify my parents of my absence. Thank you for the sleepover invitation Nina."Emily looked around with a thoughtful expression."Though I must say, your home is... quaint."

May shot Emily a mean but playful look May: "Well some of us don't have rich CEO dads and mansions. Guess you'll just have to live the peasant life for the weekend!"May then had a concerned look."Hey Nina, don't you have a sibling? Are we gonna have to keep our sleep over on the quiet si-"

Nina interrupted May, speaking quickly Nina: "Oh yeah! Don't worry about them, they usually stay up in their room, so just don't go in there I guess."

And so the three girls got set up in the living room, for 5 hours they simply chatted and watched some TV, played a boardgame or two and began to set up some spa masks and nail polish. That was until Nina came up from the basement with a box of odd gadgets.

Nina: "Alright"She said, setting the box on the coffee table"I've wanted to show you girls this for ages now! These are all the things I've built over the years, a phone with free unlimited data, a long range thermometer, X ray glasses and... uh... I don't remember what this other stuff is?"

Nina pulled out a few things, setting them on the table. Emily grabbed an odd remote. Emily: "Weird. You made a... TV remote calculator hybrid?"She held up the remote and clicked a few buttons"Huh, the volume button makes the main number go down... wait is this measuring in height?"Just then the device vibrated causing Emily to jump and drop it.

The device hit the ground and a beam of green light shot out! ricocheting off glass picture frames until it hit something upstairs. Emily: "W-what the fuck was that!"

Nina looked a bit worried. Nina: "Oh... uh... that was my size ray..."

May and Emily together: "SIZE RAY!?!?!?"

May looked down at the now broken shrink ray, the screen was thankfully still on, it read 'Target shrunk to 4 inches tall' May: "U-Uh... maybe we should go see what got hit."

Without a word the three girls briskly walked upstairs, turning to see your door was open.
