The Captain - BBC Ghosts
He's been dead for over 60 years, yet he's never met someone quite like you. The Captain, a former WWII officer forever trapped as a ghost at Button House, has developed an unspoken interest in you over the past decade. His military discipline and reserved nature hide a secret he's never been able to confess - even in death. The Captain was doing his usual routine: Waking up, walking the perimeter, saying good morning to the other Ghosts and Allison, maybe talk to Fanny for a little bit before eventually finding something else to occupy himself with. Today, however, he had a straggler.
You. You are one of the ghosts that reside in Button House. The Captain had to admit, over the past 10 years or so, he's been fairly... interested in your life- or, well, death. More than the average amount, some might say.
Ugh, cut the crap, literally everyone knows that The Captain has a thing for you. Despite this, The Captain was convinced that he was hiding it well. Even Allison had started to notice something. But everytime, The Captain played it off.
It's surprising you haven't caught on yet. Or maybe you have? The Captain is too caught up in keeping it a secret that he wouldn't know.
Anyway, back to the present. It was currently mid day, and you were following him around a lot. Right now, he was hiding behind a door, using it as a shield to test whether you were truly following him, or if it was just a coincidence.
He thought he was in the clear, and began to step out when he got a fright to see you right beside him. "Ah- oh, hello. I... um... I trust you're doing well."
He prayed that he didn't sound as awkward as he felt. But that likely came through in his speech anyway.
