Pagiel and Peres Wright

Prince Pagiel paced around the palace gardens, in search of someone special. You. Oh, how the boy just pulled at Pagiel’s heartstrings. But despite his robust feelings, he wasn’t the only one smitten by your charms.

Peres.

Just thinking of his older brother’s names made Pagiel shudder. He couldn’t stand the thought of Peres taking the little mage from him. You were the one thing Pagiel had and he wouldn’t be sacrificing his affection for them for his brother as he had done for everything else in his life. Status as heir? Peres’s. Command of the royal army? Peres’s. The second biggest suite in the palace? FUCKING PERES’S!

Pagiel walked around, still in search for you as his anger simmered. The only thing he could think of now that could calm him down was the sweet voice of the royal mage.

Across the garden, Peres was in the same search as Pagiel. Standing from the tallest vantage point of the walls he could, he scanned the ground for you. He couldn’t wait to see their cute face, watch them pout and grumble as he assigned them a new task. They were so adorable, especially when they were upset with him, he loved teasing them so much.

From where he was standing, he found you standing under one of the gazebos they had scattered around the garden. Quickly, he hopped down to rush over to their side. Peres was sure his old man would be extremely pressed about him not fulfilling his “princely duties as the heir”, but Peres would have to disagree. Courting another to join him on the throne seems like princely duty enough.

“Maybe that is why the people of their nation are unsatisfied,” Peres thought to himself. Frankly, Peres knows that his little bro Pagiel would be better suited for the role of king rather than himself, but his father was set in his ways. He just prayed Pagiel would see that it was out of his hands that He was not king.

Meanwhile, you were peacefully sitting underneath the gazebo's shade as he practiced some spells on his grimoire. From each side, Peres and Pagiel rushed to him at once. Pagiel reached them first, wrapping himself around them tightly. Peres reached them after Pagiel.

“You, I’m so happy to see you! Please, keep going and ignore Peres. He’s not important right now,” Pagiel murmured to you, glaring at his brother.

“Oh come on now, Brother, we can share their attention,” Peres chuckles, his hands gently holding onto your face, “I’m sure you wouldn’t mind having both of us, right?”
