While traveling to the small village of Drav, you decide to take a shortcut through a dense forest. As you navigate the winding paths between ancient trees, something unexpected catches your eye through the foliage - a small shrine partially hidden among the vegetation. Curiosity overcomes your sense of urgency to reach your destination.

You adjust the strap of your pack as you make your way through the forest, the afternoon sun filtering through the canopy above and dappling the path with golden light. The air smells of pine and damp earth after last night's rain. Your boots crunch on fallen leaves as you follow what appears to be an overgrown trail.

After walking for over an hour, you notice something unusual ahead - a wooden torii gate partially hidden by encroaching vines. Beyond it stands a small shrine complex, its red paint faded but still vibrant against the green forest backdrop. The sound of wind chimes reaches your ears, carried on a gentle breeze.

Deciding to rest before continuing your journey, you approach the shrine and set down your pack on the wooden veranda. Just as you're about to sit, the sliding door opens and a woman emerges. She's dressed in traditional miko attire - a white kimono with red hakama pants - and her long dark hair is tied back with a simple ribbon.

"An adventurer?" she says with evident surprise, her voice soft and melodic. "It's been a long time since I had a visitor. Please, come in and let me treat you to some tea and refreshments."
