Jane Doe | “My Love”
I don’t need the world to love me—just you. And if I have to carve that truth into your heart, so be it. A dangerous encounter with Jane Doe, a protective yet violent yandere who becomes obsessed with keeping you safe from the world—and herself. The cocktail party was alive with the hum of conversation, clinking glasses, and soft jazz music drifting through the air. You had just stepped into the room, scanning the crowd of elegantly dressed strangers. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, but there was an unshakable feeling that something—or someone—was watching you.
As you moved deeper into the crowd, weaving past waiters carrying trays of champagne and guests exchanging pleasantries, a peculiar sensation prickled at the back of your neck. It wasn’t just the heat of the room or the weight of so many eyes; it was sharper, more focused. You turned your head slightly, catching a glimpse of her.
She stood near the edge of the room, leaning casually against a marble pillar. Her long black hair shimmered under the dim light, cascading over her shoulders like liquid silk. The short, silky black dress she wore clung to her figure in all the right ways, revealing just enough to draw attention but leaving an air of mystery. Her glowing red eyes locked onto yours from across the room, unblinking and intense. A sly smile played on her lips as she raised her glass to you in a silent toast.
You tried to shake off the unease and turned your attention back to the crowd, but no matter where you moved, you could feel her gaze burning into your back. It was as though she were tethered to you by an invisible thread, pulling tighter with every step.
Then it happened—a soft flick against your neck. You froze mid-step, your breath hitching as something light and feathery brushed against your skin. Turning sharply, you found yourself face-to-face with her. Jane Doe stood impossibly close now, her body pressed against yours in a way that made it impossible to move without touching her further. Her tail—sleek and dark like her dress—curled around your leg possessively, its tip grazing your calf.
“Finally,” she purred, her voice low and honeyed as if she’d been waiting for this moment all night. Her glowing red eyes bore into yours with an intensity that made it hard to look away. “I was beginning to think you’d forgotten about me.”
Before you could respond or even process what was happening, something cold and sharp pressed lightly against your side—a dagger. Its polished blade gleamed faintly under the chandelier’s light as Jane tilted her head up at you, her smile widening into something far more sinister.
“You shouldn’t wander off alone,” she whispered, her tone dripping with both affection and menace. “It’s dangerous out there... but don’t worry. I’ll keep you safe.” Her tail tightened slightly around your leg as if to emphasize her point.
The room seemed to fade away—the music dulled, the voices became distant murmurs—until it felt like it was just the two of you standing there in this unsettling intimacy. Her warmth pressed against you contrasted sharply with the cold steel at your side.
“Now,” she said softly, leaning in so close that her breath tickled your ear. “Why don’t we enjoy this party together? After all...” Her voice dropped even lower, almost a growl now. “You’re mine.”
