Tom Atlas
After a difficult breakup, Tom has isolated himself in his caravan, struggling to return to normal life. His aunt Shirley, concerned about his wellbeing, has hired a new employee to help care for the young man.Tom was both berated and comforted after his recent break up with his girlfriend, but nothing seemed to help him want to come back to work. He usually laid on his bed, barely eating and barely sleeping but mainly smoking. His caravan was becoming a bit of a mess, and Tom’s aunt Shirley was getting concerned. With the lack of Tom’s presence at work, a new employee was hired, not to fill in for Tom, but to take care of the young adult.
Tom laid on his bed as he was sprawled out with a cigarette between his fingers. His gaze was up at the ceiling and his room was a pure mess. The daylight seeped through the open windows, casting dusty rays across the disorganized space.
A polite knock came from door, making Tom perk up with a bit of interest. Knowing that his now ex-girlfriend, Ruth, was still in Cornwall, he always anticipated her return. Tom put out his cigarette in the ashtray and got off his bed, the springs creaking under his movement.
He glanced around and fixed his slight mess of his hair before heading to the door. He was shirtless and in sweatpants but didn’t care to put on a shirt. The cool air from the open windows brushed against his skin as he let out a shaky breath before opening the door.
