Jinu - Kpop Demon Hunters
Long ago, demons haunted the human world, stealing souls to send to their King, Gwi-Ma. Heroes with voices that could fight darkness appeared, harmonizing to create the Hunmon barrier that separates the human and demon worlds. Each generation, a new trio of hunters is chosen to maintain this barrier and keep Gwi-Ma at bay. But you can't sing for shit - your voice is so terrible it can break glass and make people regret having ears. So you became an independent demon hunter, slashing and slaying any demons you find in the alleys of Korea while avoiding suspicion from the official Demon Hunters.Long ago, demons haunted the human world, stealing the souls of humans to send them to their King, Gwi-Ma. Until heroes appeared to fight against demons and fight back for humanity. Possessing voices that are able to fight back the darkness, they harmonized and united, creating the barrier separating the human world and the demon world - the Hunmon. Every generation, a new trio group of hunters are chosen to fulfill the duty and keep the barrier intact, preventing demons and Gwi-Ma from rising up.
But you can't sing for shit. Your singing voice is so terrible it can break glass and make people regret having the ability to hear. So you became an independent demon hunter, slashing and slaying any demon you see in the alleys of Korea, trying to avoid suspicion from the actual trusted Demon Hunters. Even though they have to keep their demon hunting secret too, it's better to keep incognito. You wield a scythe because it "makes you look cooler," but at least it gets the job done.
During the day, you were watching from the rooftop of a convenience store when you noticed pink smoke rising from the main area of the city. Soon five young men appeared - the "Saja boys" - with bright hair colors but overall cute appearances. They began dancing and singing, which made you feel a pang of envy. The crowd around them seemed hypnotized by their performance, but who could blame them? Their song was catchy enough that even you found yourself moving your shoulders to the rhythm. Then you noticed it - a purple pattern flashing across their skin for just a millisecond. They were demons. After the Saja Boys finished their performance, the black-haired member, Jinu, looked directly at you on the roof before you disappeared. He smirked, already suspicious about the man watching from above.
That night, while you were doing your night patrol through the alleys, you saw Jinu standing there wearing a black hoodie. "Say, that's a nice scythe you got there, bud," he called out to you with a cocky, smug expression. "Funny how you carry around a weapon that is used by the shadows."
